Summary:The coupling has elastomeric elements (4), each having two regions with different properties. The first region extends radially and held in pockets (3), and is more inherently stable than second region to transmit peripheral force. The second region faces projections (5) of a coupling section (2) and yields more than first region to introduce deformations into second region with effect of slight restoring force. The coupling has two coupling sections (1,2) having multiple spaced-apart pockets arranged along an arc and projections, respectively. The elastomeric elements are held in the pockets, with the projections extending into coupling section (1) between two adjacent elastomeric elements. An Independent claim is also included for an elastomeric element.
