Summary:An electric motor (10), in particular a stepper motor. It comprises a first rigid component (11, 31; 21) having at least one recess (13, 33; 53) and a second rigid component (21, 41; 41) having at least one protrusion (26, 46; 56). The protrusion (26, 46; 56) is at least partially oversized relative to the recess (13, 33; 53) before assembling the first and second component. For the assembly the protrusion (26, 46; 56) is pressed into the recess (13, 33; 53) with a predetermined pressure applied to the first and/or second component for forming a rigid connection between the first component (11, 31; 21) and the second component (21, 41; 41).
