Image sensor
An image sensor pixel element (11) uses a three transistor (T1, T2, T4) scheme and a photosensitive element (D1). A source follower transistor (T2) senses the photosensitive element charge and transfers it to an output (10). A modified reset circuit (12) is provided which resets the photosensitive d...

Summary: | An image sensor pixel element (11) uses a three transistor (T1, T2, T4) scheme and a photosensitive element (D1). A source follower transistor (T2) senses the photosensitive element charge and transfers it to an output (10). A modified reset circuit (12) is provided which resets the photosensitive device to a potential higher than the pixel supply voltage (VDD). This causes the source follower transistor (T2) to be overdriven and enables an increase output voltage swing. |
