The storage medium is placed away from the sensor within the connection between the sensor and plug or within the plug housing. Both sensor and storage medium use the same connection plug for connecting to the evaluation unit. The invention also relates to a corresponding pressure, power, acceleration or temperature sensor for use in combustion engines, gas turbines, injection molding or extruding machines, etc.
