Summary:The frequency signal is divided into at least two frequency ranges corresponding to two main components of the frequency signal. Each frequency signal in the two ranges is subjected to separate Fourier transformation corresponding to respective complex time signals. The second time signal is divided by the first time signal by complex division to produce a third time signal. The latter is Fourier transformed to produce a processed frequency signal. Independent claims are also included for: (a) The use of the method to evaluate distance measurements using pulsed electromagnetic waves. (b) A distance measuring apparatus using the radar principle. (c) A further distance measuring device.
