Summary:A safety lock for the bonnet of a motor-vehicle including a main hook (4) consisting of a first locking hook (4a) and a second safety hook (4b) mounted on a bracket(2)fixed to the bodywork. In order to pass from the safety position to the release position the main hook (4) can be operated by means of a lever (13) rotatably supported on the bonnet and adapted to push on a finger (5) integral to said hook.
