Summary:A storage container for storing temperature sensitive materials, particularly materials that are sensitive to temperatures below zero degrees Centigrade, includes a two layer structure. The outer layer of the container is made of a material including a volume of coolant capable of being frozen to temperatures substantially below zero degrees Centigrade, such as -26° C. An inner layer of the container includes a volume of water that is selected relative to the volume coolant in the outer layer such that, when the two layers are combined, material held within the inner layer is maintained above 0° C. Both inner and outer layers of the container may be structured, for example, as envelope products.
