Summary:The invention relates to a drive rod fitting comprising a corner deflection element for drive rods which are guided in a groove for receiving the fitting, which groove runs around the sash frame. The drive rods are joined together at the sash corner via a deflection member (15) which is guided in an angular guide channel (1) situated in the groove designed for receiving the fitting. An external sash corner covering element which covers the groove for receiving the fitting can be joined to the shaped sash frame and the corner deflection element can be fastened to the sides of said groove in a positive and/or non-positive fit via a fixing device. The aim of the invention is to produce a corner deflection element in a simple manner and to simplify the subsequent assembly of the drive rod fitting. It also aims for the attachment to be sufficiently strong, using the simplest possible measures, and for it to be possible to attach the fixing device to corner deflection elements which do not have an only laterally open angular space but only have a cover rail assigned to one leg of the sash. To this end the positive and/or non-positive fit is achieved by a fixing device (20) positioned at the level of the guide channel (1).
