The box and cover (11) are made watertight by joints (81,101) and secured mechanically by sockets (8,9) for the feeler rod Comparateur pour la mesure et la comparaison de dimensions linéaires ou angulaires, comprenant: un bâti métallique (2), deux paliers (23, 24) destinés à recevoir une touche de palpage (3) traversant le bâti (2) et usinés directement dans le bâti (2), deux douilles (8, 9) solidaires du bâti (2), un système de mesure comprenant une partie mobile (33) entraînée par ladite touche de palpage et une partie fixe solidaire du bâti, un boîtier (10) recouvrant complètement les faces externes (25) du bâti (2) et maintenu par les deux douilles (8, 9).
