Burner for partial oxidation of carbon containing liquid fuel
The mixing chamber has from its outlet to its opening (1a) an axial length (A) of 10 to 300 mm, a total inner diameter of 10 to 100 mm and an approach angle (X) measured against the mixing chamber axis of 3 to 20 degrees. Burner has outlet directed towards a burner chamber. The burner next to the ou...

Summary: | The mixing chamber has from its outlet to its opening (1a) an axial length (A) of 10 to 300 mm, a total inner diameter of 10 to 100 mm and an approach angle (X) measured against the mixing chamber axis of 3 to 20 degrees. Burner has outlet directed towards a burner chamber. The burner next to the outlet which extends to the mixing chamber (2) is conical. An injecting first pipe (1) through which fuel flows to the mixing chamber is arranged coaxially to the mixing chamber, where the opening (1a) of the first pipe is in the region of the inlet (2a) of the mixing chamber. An annular gap (3) is present between the openings of first pipe and the inlet of the mixing chamber for the flowing of water vapor. A first annular chamber (5) for the flowing of water vapor encloses the first pipe and connects to the annular gap (3). A second pipe (6) encloses the first annular chamber (5) and seals the outer side of the mixing chamber (2). A second annular chamber (11) for the flowing of oxygen containing gas to outlet of the burner encloses the second pipe and the mixing chamber. |
