Summary: | Preparation of stable fine particle powders comprises: (a) dissolving one or more substances (A) and one or more substances (B) in a super-critical, compressible fluid; and (b) relaxing the fluid along a residence path, where the solubility limit of (A) is earlier than that of (B) in the residence path. An Independent claim is included for an apparatus for carrying out the process comprising a first high pressure autoclave (2) for dissolving substance (A) in a super critical fluid and a second high pressure autoclave for dissolving substance (B) in a super critical fluid. Two separate feeds (3, 7) connected to relaxation devices (4, 8) relax both fluids so that their flows intersect. |
