Summary: | The invention relates to a device for supporting and electrically contacting brushes, which is used to produce a slipping electric contact to slip rings on a shaft of a current generator or an electric motor. The device has a support, which in turn possesses a support base (1) and a plurality of bolts affixed thereon, each of them serving to connect at least one brush with the support base (1). The device has at least one current divider, which can be connected to at least two brushes by means of a short-circuiting electrical connection and to which at least one electric connecting line can be attached. More than one bolt forms part of the at least one current divider serving as electric contact bolt (2) with a contact surface, so that at least one brush can be supportedly connected and electrically contacted. The support base (1) is electrically insulating at least in areas of the connecting points with the contact bolts (2). |
