Summary:An impedance matching network (16) is provided with a transformation factor (T) between the transmitter stage amplifier (14) and the antenna (1). By selective parallel connection of two or more impedance transformers (17,18) in the impedance network two or more transformation factors can be provided. The required number of transformers can be switched in and out by software controlled switches. An Independent claim is provided for a transmitter.
