Summary: | The instrument comprises a handle (1) and cutting blade (6). The handle has a curved ergonomic shape and two depressions (2) for the thumb and finger, and the blade is fitted into a slot in a projection (5) forming an angle of approximately 35 degrees with the handle so that the cutting edge of the blade is on the inside of the angle. A variant of the design has the projection and blade pivoted to the handle so that the angle formed between the blade and handle can be varied between 0 and 220 degrees in steps of about 35 degrees, controlled by a spring-loaded ball or peg. |
