Summary: | The system includes refill valves (40) connected with the battery cells, intercell connectors (e.g. two lead bars underneath covers (35)) located on the top surface of the battery, and tubing (27) connected to the electrolyte fluid source. The tubing sections are attached to each other and the refill valves by tubing connectors (20). These have three ports (22) forming a T shape; when a port is unconnected it is blocked using a plug. The connectors are identical and interchangeable and can be rotated 360[deg]; allowing the use of a standard routing path for the tubing, independent of the battery cell configuration, this path generally follows the electrical path defined by the intercell connectors. |
