Summary: | The inlet (10) includes a conduit (12) with a longitudinally extending flow passageway, a portion defining a flow opening for water flow into the passageway and a portion extending from this. Several wall openings are in the wall for water flow from the passageway with a radial component. A deflector extends in the conduit and into a path of the water flow and deflects a portion of the flow outwards through the openings. On installation of the inlet into the tank one end of the conduit extends through the port and the other end into the tank. The wall openings and the deflector coact as the flow is introduced into the tank to reduce generation of temperature gradients within the tank. |
