Emulsifier as a compound of acidic bituminous emulsions for coating of all materials including limestone
A new emulsifier composition for acidic bitumen emulsions comprises 50 - 100% of a homogeneous mixture of 60 - 95% of an alkylaminated derivative(or mixture of such derivatives) and 40 - 5% of colophane, and 0 - 50% of a solvent for both materials, which is compatible with the bitumen. The alkylamin...

Summary: | A new emulsifier composition for acidic bitumen emulsions comprises 50 - 100% of a homogeneous mixture of 60 - 95% of an alkylaminated derivative(or mixture of such derivatives) and 40 - 5% of colophane, and 0 - 50% of a solvent for both materials, which is compatible with the bitumen. The alkylaminated derivative is an alkyl polypropylene polyamine, alkylamido polymethylene- polyamine or immediate cyclisation derivatives. The alkyl group(optionally unsaturated) is a 12 - 22C group, including oxyethylated and oxypropylated derivatives. Also claimed, are the bitumen emulsions obtained using the emulsifier system described. |
