Summary: | The device has a number of transform devices (MP1,MP2,Mpk) which selectively spectrally transform spectral components of a multiplexed input to produce precompensated spectral components. The transformations are used in anticipation of signal deformations caused by transmissions along predefined paths. The spectral precompensated components are applied to the input of a transmission node and routed to destination nodes. Each module contributes to the chromatic dispersion precompensation, with a switch used to selectively couple the spectral components to the modules. |
