Summary:The unit (1) is connected to the outside air via adjacent inlet and discharge passages (14, 15) having a common partition wall (16). Part (16a) of the wall is formed by a butterfly valve (17), whose periphery matches the common cross-section of the two passages, its pivot axis (18) being in the plane of the wall. The valve hinges between a position flush with the wall, and a transverse one leaving the opening (19) in the wall free, when a short-circuiting deflection is formed between the passages. The latter can together form a tubular lining insert (13) for mounting in a room- or building-wall.
