Summary:The motor vehicle headlamp has a decorative cover (60) placed in front of the direct cover (50) that prevents light from the lamp bulb emerging directly from the lamp. The decorative cover is supported on an arm so there is a space between it and the cover directly in front of the lamp bulb. This space forms a vertical passage (E) that allows air circulation between the two covers, preventing build-up of heat between them. The direct cover (50) is mounted on an extension from the bulb-holder (22). The decorative cover (60) is carried on a rigid arm that extends from the bulb-holder. The decorative cover can be a circular plate with a curved profile, or a polyhedral plate.
