Summary:The exchanger has feed (2') and discharge pipes for the heat-transfer medium and one or more exchanger tubes (3') through which the medium flows. Each tube is connected at one end only to the feed pipe, being closed at the other. Inside it are one or more second tubes (7) of smaller diameter, and which have openings (8) near the closed end (3''). The other end (9) of each smaller tube is connected to a discharge pipe (10). Where there is a single smaller tube, this can be concentric to the larger one. The opening (8) can be right at the end of the smaller tube and inclined to its axis.
