Summary:The remote control system for a vehicle includes a remote station (1) from which the operator controls the vehicle, and a station (2) on board of the vehicle to be controlled. The vehicle-mounted station (2) includes several cameras (15) connected to a real-time mixing circuit (20) combining the signal information from the cameras. The output of the mixer is connected to a video and audio transmitter (21), whilst the mixer may receive control signals from a remote control signal receiver (17). The remote control signal receiver is also connected to interfaces for controlling elements of the vehicle. The remote station includes a number of monitors for viewing the pictures gathered by the cameras.
