Summary: | This invention relates to a temperature sensor determining the temperature of catalyst provided to process automobile exhaust gas, and a manufacturing method thereof. Said temperature sensor consists of a heat resistant cap, and a thermistor element having a very little long-term resistivity change disposed within said heat-resistant cap, and lead-wires connected to said thermistor elements to connect said thermistor element to an external circuit. The major materials constituting said thermistor are expressed by a below-shown chemical formula and composition, and this is combined with a minor material of CaO, rare-earth oxide, ThO2, or ZrO2, or a combination of these.
