Summary: | Continuous prodn. of thermoplastic moulding mass based on polyoxymethylene (I) and thermoplastic polyurethane (II) in an extruder comprises: (1) heating a mixt. of 10-99 wt.% (I) (homo- or co-polymer) and 0-50 wt.% additives and processing auxiliaries for 0.1-15 min. at 170-280 deg.C to produce a homogeneous melt; and (2) adding 1-50 wt.% (II) in at least one extruder region at 175-220 deg.C, then homogenising and extruding the resulting mixt. |
