Es wird eine Bandsäge (1), insbesondere eine Fleischereibandsäge, mit einem Unterbau (2) mit Sägetisch (3), einem Antriebsmotor (5) mit unterem Antriebsrad (4), Schmutzabstreifern (25,26) für das umlaufende, bandförmige Sägeblatt (10) und das Antriebsrad, sowie einer Sägeblatt-Spann- und Entspannvorrichtung (SSV), mit der der Antriebsmotor samt Antriebsrad und Motor-Lagerschild in vertikaler Richtung bewegbar sind, sowie mit einer Säule und einem sich dieser oben anschließenden Sägekopf, an dem das obere Umlenkrad für das Sägeblatt gelagert ist, vorgeschlagen. Um einen leichten und schnellen Aus- und Einbau von Sägeblatt und Abstreifer zu ermöglichen, ist vorgesehen, daß die dem Sägeblatt zugeordneten Abstreifer (25a,b) und der Radabstreifer (26) durch diesen zugeordnete Mitnehmerelemente (27) einer Abhebe- und Anstellvorrichtung (SAV) betätigbar sind und daß die Abhebe- und Anstellvorrichtung und die Sägeblatt-Spann- und Entspannvorrichtung miteinander so gekoppelt sind, daß sie mit einem einzigen Betätigungshebel (6) der Sägeblatt-Spann- und Entspannvorrichtung gemeinsam bedienbar sind. In order to permit easy and quick dismantling and fitting of saw blade and wipers, provision is made for the wiper (25a, 25b) allocated to the saw blade and the wheel wiper (26) to be operable by driver elements (27), allocated to these wipers, of a lifting and setting device (SAV), and for the lifting and setting device and the tensioning and slackening device for the saw blade to be coupled to one another in such a way that they can be operated together with a single actuating lever (6) of the tensioning and slackening device for the saw blade.
