Procédé hydrothermique de tirage d'un monocristal à MTiOXO4, dans lequel M est NH4, K, Rb et/ou Tl ou des combinaisons de ces éléments avec Cs et X étant P et/ou As, à des températures élevées, en mettant en oeuvre un minéraliseur comprenant à la fois M+1 et X+5 et une quantité de F- efficace pour accroître la solubilité de MTiOXO4 dans le minéraliseur. L'invention porte sur des minéraliseurs renfermant F-1, M+1 et X+5, dans lequel F-1 est présent en quantité efficace pour accroître la solubilité de MTiOXO4 dans le minéraliseur et pour assurer une solubilité de MTiOXO4 égale à au moins 1 % en poids à la température et à la pression d'opération, pour la production hydrothermique. A hydrothermal process is disclosed for growing a crystal at MTiOXO4 wherein M is NH4, K, Rb and/or Tl or mixtures thereof with Cs and X is P and/or As, at elevated temperatures using a mineralizer comprising both M+1 and X+5 and an amount of F-0 effective to increase the solubility of MTiOXO4 in the mineralizer. Mineralizers containing F-1, M+1 and X+5 are disclosed wherein F-1 is present in an amount effective to increase the solubility of MTiOXO4 in the mineralizer and to provide a MTiOXO4 solubility of at least about 1% by weight at the operating temperature and pressure for the hydrothermal production.
