Summary:An electropneumatic valve sub-assembly (10) is proposed which, on a base plate (11) with several valve places lying side by side, is combined together with other valves to form a valve block, in which arrangement different valve models can be assembled together. The valve sub-assembly (10) has a parallelepiped-shaped connection plate (22), on the end faces of which two 3/2-way solenoid valves (23, 24) are arranged which control the supply air, fed via an adaptor plate (21), alternatively to two consumer connections (46, 47) in the connection plate (22) or can vent the latter. Two 3/2-way valve functions can be arranged on one valve place of the base plate (11) next to valves with 5-way functions, so that more functions can be achieved by mixed valve arrangements in a space-saving and cost-saving manner.
