Summary: | Recombinant human immunoglobulin molecules neutralizing for HIV-1, methods of production of the immunoglobulins and methods of preventing HIV-1 infection using the immunoglobulins are disclosed. DNA constructs containing the complementarity determining regions (CDRs) and framework (FRs) of the native human antibody are combined with other constant regions, and expressed in recombinant host cells. These recombinant antibodies are useful for the treatment and prevention of HIV-1 infection in vivo. |
