Summary:The suspension thrust rolling bearing is intended to be placed between an upper fixed cup (1) secured to the bodywork of a vehicle and a lower cup (2) which can move rotationally and acts as a support for a suspension spring which surrounds a shock absorber cylinder of the vehicle. The rolling bearing comprises a substantially cylindrical sheath (7) including elastic fastening elements which may be in the form of an annular internal lip (9) of a dimension allowing it to be fitted forcibly around the external edge of the upper brace (3) to retain it, and possibly radial projections (10) distributed circumferentially at the external surface of the sheath to allow it to be fitted forcibly into the inner edge of the upper cup (1) and axially to retain the thrust rolling bearing in this cup. Le roulement de butée de suspension est destiné à être placé entre une coupelle supérieure fixe (1) solidaire de la carrosserie d'un véhicule et une coupelle inférieure (2) mobile en rotation servant d'appui à un ressort de suspension qui entoure un cylindre d'amortisseur du véhicule. Le roulement comprend un fourreau (7) sensiblement cylindrique comportant des éléments élastiques d'accrochage pouvant être sous forme d'un bourrelet intérieur annulaire (9) d'une dimension permettant son emmanchement à force autour du bord extérieur de la bague supérieure (3) pour assurer la retenue de celle-ci, et éventuellement des protubérances radiales (10) réparties circonférentiellement à la surface extérieure du fourreau pour permettre son emmanchement à force dans le bord intérieur de la coupelle supérieure (1) et assurer la retenue axiale du roulement de butée dans cette dernière.
