Summary:A device for the analog indications of measurement values of a measuring instrument, particularly on the dashboard of a motor vehicle, comprises a dial (9) corresponding to the measurement values, a pointer (5) driven by the measuring instrument (2) and exhibiting a hub part (7), pointer (5) and hub part consisting of a light-conducting material and the pointer being supported on the hub part rotatable above the dial, and a light source (14,15,23) coupled to the pointer (5) for illuminating the latter. The light from the light source (14,15,23) is coupled in directly in the axial direction of the pointer (5) and essentially centrally into the hub part (7).
