Summary:A medicament for preventing and treating circulatory organ diseases contains as an effective ingredient a spiro-3-heterozolidine compound represented by the following formula: wherein R and R , which may be identical or different, each represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a pyrrolizidinoalkyl group, a group -(CH2CH2O)nCH3 in which n represents an integer of 1 to 113 or a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group or alternatively R and R may form, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded, a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group, optionally containing a further nitrogen or oxygen atom; T represents a sulfur atom, or a nitrogen atom which may be bonded to a hydrogen atom, U represents an oxygen or sulfur atom, or an imino group; X represents an oxygen or sulfur atom; and Y and Z, which may be identical or different, each represent a hydrogen or halogen atom or an alkyl, alkoxy or alkylmercapto group; or a pharmacologically acceptable salt or solvate thereof.
