Summary:The present invention relates to an input information processing apparatus for use with a portable computer or the like in which an information is input on an input tablet provided on a display surface side of a display panel by an input pen. In this input information processing apparatus, unusual process such as correction process of coordinate information input by the point of the input pen or the like is executed by a control section in response to operation of the input pen and a power switch, whereby the number of various switches and buttons thereof is reduced. Therefore, the input information processing apparatus can be simplified in arrangement, made inexpensive and light in weight.
