A PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION FOR RECTAL ADMINISTRATION OF CALCITONIN

There is described a new pharmaceutical composition for the rectal administration comprising a calcitonin as the active ingredient and an oily vehicle consisting of a paraffin mixture. The thus prepared pharmaceutical composition shows good absorption and stability characteristics.
