Summary:An ultrasonic motor utilising a flexural travelling wave generated in a vibration member for rotating a rotor, comprises a vibration member (3) including a piezoelectric element (31) for generating a travelling wave, a rotor (4) rotatable guided on a support bracket (2) by way of a ball bearing (41,44,45), and a pressure regulator (5) for generating contact pressure between the rotor and the vibration member. The ball bearing has an inner ring (41) rotatably received on the support, and outer ring (45) fixed to the rotor, and bails (44) provided between the inner ring and the outer ring.
