Summary:The present invention relates to an underseal composition for motor vehicles, comprising a finely divided vinyl chloride homopolymer, copolymer, terpolymer or graft polymer, a plasticizer, a stabilizer, and a filler comprising calcium carbonate particles, wherein at least a part of said filler is provided with a surface coating formed by a surface treatment agent which comprises an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid or fatty acid having from 4 to 14 carbon atoms, or a salt thereof. The underseal composition has improved rheological properties.
