Curable dispersion

The invention relates to a curable dispersion on the basis of a water-dispersed polymer of one or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers with an average molecular weight between 2 x 10 and 2 x 10 dalton, emulsion stabilizers and/or emulsifiers. The dispersion can be prepared by polymerizing, in a f...

Summary:The invention relates to a curable dispersion on the basis of a water-dispersed polymer of one or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers with an average molecular weight between 2 x 10 and 2 x 10 dalton, emulsion stabilizers and/or emulsifiers. The dispersion can be prepared by polymerizing, in a first step, a phosphate or phosphonate compound or mixtures thereof that contain at least an organic residue with a (meth)acrylate derivative or an other unsaturated compound or a styrene derivative, and after this polymerization adding an ethylenically unsaturated and epoxy-containing monomer.
