Summary: | The cysteamine acid addition salts are prepared by reaction of aziridine with an organic sulphur compound of oxidation state -2 and with a ketone, followed by acid hydrolysis of the thiazolidine formed as intermediate, the aziridine and the ketone being reacted with ammonium hydrogen sulphide or a metal hydrogen sulphide with the addition of a medium to strong acid at a temperature of -10 to +100 DEG C and a pH of greater than or equal to 8.5 being maintained. |
