Summary:A transport vehicle for lateral loading from the floor and from racks with at least one chassis member running in the transverse direction relative to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle has a laterally directed feed drive for a load-member assembly with in particular fork-shaped load-supporting arms. Furthermore, a lifting drive for the vertical movement of the load-member assembly with regard to at least one chassis member is provided. The fork-shaped load-supporting arms (21, 22) or wheel arms which can correspondingly be moved transversely are provided with load rollers (23, 24; 45, 46) which can be extended downwards and support the load during the transverse movement.
