Summary:A liquid, hydroxyl functional graft copolymer is prepared by the vinyl addition polymerization of a vinyl monomer component comprising at least a portion of a carboxyl functional vinyl monomer in the presence of a polymer containing epoxy groups. The graft copolymer is especially useful in formulating clear coating compositions which exhibit excellent sag resistance without the necessity for externally added rheology control agent.
