Summary:In a machine for making two-part objects, for example a folding box blank with a window insert, the first parts are conveyed separately, essentially perpendicular to the conveying direction of the second parts and joined there to the latter. By means of special devices for adjusting both the first parts and the second parts, a simple transport device can be used, namely carriages, which seize the stacked second parts from a magazine, convey them over the first parts and deposit them there with precise positioning. The machine can operate in a particularly economical manner if such magazines are provided on either side of the assembly line and are served in a synchronously alternating manner by two such carriages which deposit the respective second parts alternately on the assembly line or the first parts conveyed there with precise positioning, where for example a gluing operation takes place. The machine can be used both as an independent machine and can easily be integrated in an assembly line in the case of products whose manufacture requires several work operations. In principle, the machine can process any first and second parts in which an exact relative positioning is required.
