Summary:A thermoplastic resin compsn. contains (a) 5-95% by wt. of a polyolefin modified by grafting an unsatd. carboxylic acid or carboxylic acid deriv. (e.g. acrylic, maleic, fumaric, tetra hydrophthalic or crotonic acid) and a silane deriv. to a polyolefin or a modified polyolefin diluted with a polyolefin; (b) 95-5% by wt. of a polyamide. The silane deriv. may be a cpd. of formula R-(CH2)n-Si(OR')3 where R is a gp. reactive with the unsatd. acid, n is 0-4 and R' is akyl or aryl.
