Summary:Method to produce heat resistant polyethylenterphthalate containers by means of thermoforming with two-way stretching of a sheet (1) of unstretched amorphous polymer in a die (2) kept at temperature near 180 DEG C. The container is consolidated and extracted by means of a counterdie (4), cooled and provided with suction means. The containers thus obtained are stable at sterilization temperature in boiling water and in steam at 130 DEG C.
