COLOR CATHODE RAY TUBE
In an electron gun assembly for a cathode ray tube, the center and side electron beams (3A, 3B, 3C) emitted from cathodes (9A, 9B, 9C) are incident on a main electric lens (21). The center and side electron beams (3A, 3B, 3C) are focused, respectively. The side beams (3A, 3C) are over-converged and...

Summary: | In an electron gun assembly for a cathode ray tube, the center and side electron beams (3A, 3B, 3C) emitted from cathodes (9A, 9B, 9C) are incident on a main electric lens (21). The center and side electron beams (3A, 3B, 3C) are focused, respectively. The side beams (3A, 3C) are over-converged and directed to an over-converged point by the main electric lens (21). The side beams (3A, 3C) emerged from the main electric lens (21) are deflected and corrected by a divergent lens (23) so that the center and side beams are converged on a proper converged point between the screen (30) and the over-converged point (P). |
