Summary:A process for adhering a latex film to a polymeric substrate through the formation of covalent bonds at the interface of the polymeric substrate and the latex film. The covalent bonds are formed through the reaction of a cyclic imino ether group, 2-alkenyl-2-oxazoline, and a coreactive group, active hydrogen, epoxy or anhydride group, one of which is present in the polymeric substrate and the other of which is present in the latex. A product prepared from the improved method of adhering a latex film to a polymeric substrate is also included.
