L'invention concerne des composés fluorés non ioniques répondant à la formule RFC2H4S(R)H dans laquelle R désigne un motif C2H4X avec X = O ou S, ou une chaîne comprenant exclusivement plusieurs de tels motifs, deux motifs consécutifs pouvant être identiques ou différents et RF est un groupement alkyle perfluoré à l'exclusion des composés de formule RFC2H4SC2H4OH, RFC2H4S(C2H4O)2H et RF(C2H4S)2H et les mélanges de tels composes, en particulier les mélanges des produits définis ci-dessus différant entre eux par la longueur de leur chaine perfluorée, mais dont la partie hydrophile de la molécule est identique d'un produit à l'autre. Pour leur obtention, on fait réagir un composé de formule RFC2H4SH sur une monochlorhydrine d'éthylène- ou de polyéthylène-glycol: on convertit également la fonction alcool du produit résultant en fonction thiol puis on fait réagir le produit ainsi obtenu sur une telle monochlorhydrine et on transforme à nouveau la fonction alcool résultante en fonction thiol et ainsi de suite jusqu'à obtention du nombre de groupements C2H4O et/ou C2H4S désiré. To obtain them, a compound having the formula RFC2H4SH is reacted on an ethylene or polyethylene glycol monochlorohydrin; the alcohol function of the resulting product is also converted to thiol function and then the so obtained product is reacted on such a monochlorohydrin and the resulting alcohol function is again transformed to thiol function, and so on, up to obtaining the desired number of C2H4O and/or C2H4S groups.
