Summary:A non-aqueous process for dyeing a shaped article at an elevated temperature comprises causing a thin continuous film of a dye composition to flow over the surfaces of the shaped article at an elevated temperature. The dye composition temperature and the time of contact between the dye composition and the shaped article are sufficient to effectuate the dyeing of the shaped article. The dye composition comprises a substantially non-aqueous solvent, a dyestuff, and one or more additives, if needed.
