Summary:1. A concentrated fluid formulation of inorganic pigments which contains, based on (a+b+c+d), a) from 50 to 80% by weight of finely divided inorganic pigment, b) from 1 to 15% by weight of at least one oxyalkylation product based on b1 ) reaction products of C2 -C3 -alkylenediamines or poly-C2 -C3 -alkylenediamines with propylene oxide followed by ethylene oxide, and b2 ) reaction products of aliphatic or cycloaliphatic hydroxy compounds having from 3 to 9 carbon atoms and from 3 to 6 primary, secondary or primary and secondary hydroxyl groups, with propylene oxide and then with ethylene oxide, reaction products b1 ) and b2 ) each containing 40 to 80% by weight of terminal polyethylene oxide blocks, or a mixture of such oxyalkylation products, c) from 0.1 to 7% by weight of a copolymer which is water-soluble in the form of its alkali metal salts or ammonium salts and has been prepared from (based on the copolymer in the form of the free acid) c1 ) 90 to 50% by weight of styrene and/or vinyltoluene, and c2 ) 10 to 50% by weight of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid and/or maleic anhydride, the copolymer having a mean molecular weight of from 500 to 10,000, and from 50 to 100% of the carboxyl groups being neutralized, and d) from 18.9 to 48.9% by weight of water or of a mixture of water and humectants, and e) from 0 to 5% by weight of other auxiliaries conventionally used in such formulations.
