Summary: | 1. A connecting terminal for electrical devices of a particularly low design, the clamping screw (1) of which is held in a clamping base (2) and which has a clamp (3) for holding elements to be connected against the contact surface on the clamping base, these components together forming at least one clamping point for conductors (4) to be connected, the clamp (3) being tiltably held around the clamping screw (1) to such an extent that one arm of the clamp can be supported against the clamping base (2) on the side of the clamping screw (1) opposite to the clamping point, characterised in that the clamping point is spaced from the clamping screw (1) to an extent such that, for the largest conductor (4) which can be connected, a gap (5) of approximately half the diameter of this conductor remains ; and that the clamping screw (1) is so designed that its head (13) can be countersunk into the clamp (3). |
