Изобретен способ увеличения сопротивления опрокидывающему моменту самоподъемной буровой установки, включающий в себя прикрепление по меньшей мере одного бокового опорного элемента ноги по меньшей мере к одной ноге самоподъемного морского основания, которая закреплена и имеет решетчатый каркас. Изобретена также система и устройство для увеличения сопротивления опрокидывающему моменту элемента несущей конструкции с решетчатым каркасом.
