The system also includes a first power supply 133a operably connected to the first sensor 131a and configured to operate the first sensor 131a and a second power supply 133b operably connected to the second sensor 131b and configured to operate the second sensor 131b. The system further includes a controller 330 operably connected to at least the first power supply 133a as well as the first sensor 131a and the second power supply 133b as well as the second sensor 131b, the controller 330 configured to monitor at least the first power supply 133a and the second power supply 133b, if a fault is detected in the first power supply 133a, operate the transport refrigeration system 120 from the second sensor 131b.
